If you want to go for a cheap good Chinese meal I have to recommend Noodle Oodle. I discovered the place while hanging out with some friends in Oxford Street, wandering around on a Sunday afternoon, and one of them (Chinese) told us that if we really wanted to try a good typical Chinese meal we should definitely go to Noodle Oodle.
Since the first day I went I’ve been a regular to the place. I took with me that time Taylor, as I knew he likes to try new restaurants as much as I do, he got crazy for the place, and every time he had the chance he tried to convince me to go there. Anyway, Taylor went back to the US, so during his last week here in London we decided to go, as usual the food was really good, we asked for the house special dim sum, roast meat platter, crispy chicken noodles, egg fried rice, fried wonton, duck noodle soup, and tsingtao beers.
Service is good, food is pretty decent, and the price is affordable, I’ve never spent more than 15 pounds there, and I’ve never waited for a table there, so you won’t have the experience in the Seinfeld episode “The Chinese Restaurant” where Jerry, George, and Elaine wait for a table a whole night, and I assure you the food is just like the one Elaine described.
Elaine: Remember when you first went out to eat with your parents? Remember, it was such a treat. You go and they serve you this different food that you never saw before. They put it in front of you and it was such a delicious and exciting adventure. And now I just feel like a big sweaty hog waiting for them.
