During my trip to Cincinnati I went to Dewey’s pizza, the place was the idea of a musician who had to work in a pizza delivery place to be able to support in Seattle . Having not succes in the music business he decided to open a restaurant back home in the Cincy, so he created a cool neighboorhood shack with microbeers on tap. Now his dream became an empire with restaurants in Cincinnati , Northern Kentucky, Dayton , St Louis , Cleveland , and Columbus .
We tried a X-Pepperoni which is basically extra pepperoni and a Wild Mushroom with brings minced garlic, mozzarella fontina blend, mushrooms, portobello mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, shitake mushrooms, capers, and roasted red peppers. For drink a couple of Dewey’s pizza seasonal ale.
Not the best pizza I have ever had but pretty decent, good flavours, not too expensive, and they're generous with the toppings, so if you’re around is a good option in the area, also the beers are quite good.
Dewey reminds me the Seinfeld episode “The Library”.
Kramer: The Dewey Decimal System, what a scam that was. Boy that Dewey guy really cleaned up on that deal.
Jerry: Where's George
Reader: Shhh.
Kramer: Tryin' to save a quarter.
