Escaping the Royal Wedding VI: Cardiff Curry

My Welsh friend recommended to go to a curry place named “Cardamom”. The place has won awards such as the South Wales and Echo award and the British Curry award, and is one of the favourites in Cardiff, so before leaving I did a quick stop to have lunch in the place.

The Menu

The Place

I started with the Tandoori Lamb Chops, they were good but a little bit dry in my opinion. Then I went for the Kebab Cocktail Bahar which brings chicken tikka, lamb tikka, and sheek kebab, really good, amazing flavours, and as side rice and Lasani Nan.

Place is good, food was amazing, the problem is that there are so many good curry houses in the UK is quite difficult to differentiate, worth the visit if you’re in the Welsh capital.

The Place

I visit Cardamom during lunch time, my friend told me is a really busy place but when I arrived it was completely empty, so it reminded me the Seinfeld episode “The Cafe” where Jerry suggests to Babu changing the concept of his restaurant to Pakistani.

Babu: Where are people? You see people? Show me people! There are no people!
