A place I was planning to come back for a long time was Fernandez & Wells. A Spanish café, serving bocadillos, Iberico ham, manchego cheese, and other Spanish treats. Their promise make you feel like home, and enjoy Spanish aromas. Three sites in Soho and now an addition in Somerset House.

The first time I went I had the Iberico bocadillo, so this time I wanted to try another one to see if other options are as good as that one. A quick scan over the bar and plenty of options, all enticing me to try them, at the end I went for the Lomo one (pork loin). They toasted it and in less than 2 minutes I was ready to get my hands dirty.

The bocadillo was nice, great flavour, nicely toasted, the pork loin with the manchego nice combination, roasted tomatoes gave a hearty flavour. I wouldn't mind a bit more of the cheese to be honest. Overall a nice sandwich with good balance.

A great place if you want a quick bite, have a coffee, or just a couple drinks, relax, friendly, and convenient.

Holly: Well, after you scarfed up my mutton I had the irresistible urge to make pork chops for you. I said hello to Franco for you

Jerry: I bet he acted aloof like he didn't know me
