The Coffee Inquiry IV: Foxcroft & Ginger

My next stop was quite close Flat White, actually just a couple metres, the place Foxcroft & Ginger, another independent coffee shop, two locations in the city, my stop the one in the west. You would never imagine the decor by the facade of the store. Ground level is quite small, a rustic atmosphere, but as soon as you get into the basement, it’s like getting into a 80s old gym, pommel horse as tables, flags on the walls, completely rustic or should I say a gym deposit style.

F&G
The place
Some snacks, sweet treats, and a good selection of sandwiches, such as chorizo and sausage with onion jam, chicken mozzarella and guacamole, etc. The coffee is a special blend from Climpson & Sons, got a macchiato, strong with a bitter end, quite nice.

Espresso Machine: Synesso

Coffee time
A place with definitely attitude, even the coffee cups have style. Almost forgot you can also have beers and other drinks there as they have license.

Gym reminds me the Seinfeld episode “The Library”

George: I think that's Mr. Hayman, the gym teacher from our High School
Jerry: Are you sure?
George: He's older, completely covered in filth, no whistle, but I think it's him
Jerry: George got him fired, he squealed on him
Kramer: Ooh tattle tale
George: I didn't tattle
Kramer: What did this guy do? What happened?
George: There was an incident, I'd rather not discuss it
Kramer: Oh come on, you can tell me
George: Some other time
Kramer: What tonight? You know I never figured you for a squealer
Jerry: Oh, he sang like a canary
