A Milk Bar in the Big Apple [On The Road: NYC]

Another venue part of the David Chang’s empire is the Momofuku Milk Bar, what else can I say about Chang that I haven’t told before, so let’s focus on the place. Bakery concept, so be prepared for cookies, pies, cakes, flavored milks, and other treats, five locations in NYC, fast, convenient, and no complications.

Ordering
We visited the one in Midtown for breakfast, and we were on a rush so the idea was to order and keep going, we got a cappuccino, a veggie bagel bomb and some carrot cake truffles. The bomb was pretty nice, good enough, the coffee was ok, and the truffles were superb.

Truffles
Nice place to get something fast and keep going on the city that never sleeps.

Bakery reminds me the Seinfeld episode "The Dinner Party"

Elaine: We'll get some cake. Can you stop off at the bakery?
George: Why don't you just get some Ring Dings at the liquor store?
Elaine: Ring Dings?
George: Hey, Ring Dings are better than anything you'll ever get at a bakery
Kramer: I like Ring Dings
Elaine: George, we can't show up at someone's house with Ring Dings and Pepsi
Kramer: Hey your lights are on!
George: It's a funeral procession, and I got news for you. I show up with Ring Dings and Pepsi, I become the biggest hit at the party. People be coming up to me, just between you and me I'm really excited about the Ring Dings and the Pepsi

Certainly one of the best dessert spots in NYC! Bad for the hips, but very delicious.
