Burger Wars Episode LIV: The Puck Burger [BurgeReview]

Austrian celebrity chef and restaurateur is now in London, yes no other than Wolfgang Puck, recently he opened CUT at 45 Park Lane hotel. The only chef to have won James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Chef twice. Posh and elegant steakhouse, featuring beef cuts from UK, US, Australia, Chile, and New Zealand.

The place

Got to the place sat at the bar upstairs, same menu as the restaurant, same kitchen, got some nibbles, spicy and sweet nuts and marinated olives with my beer, Pink Floyd on the background, for starter I ordered an Austrian Oxtail Bouillon, chervil, and bone marrow dumplings. The dish was great, the broth outstanding, some sweet notes, the bone marrow dumpling was powerful, excellent start.

Nibbles
Bouillon
The main function was the Australian Wagyu and Black Angus beef burger with Ogleshield cheddar, as side tempura onion rings.

The Burger
The verdict, the burger was perfectly cook, the melted cheese was to die for, caramelised onion on top brilliant, the flavour of the patty was amazing a house made aioli which played perfectly with the burger, the toasted seed bun add crunchiness to the mix, everything was in harmony, great burger

The damage, 22 quid for the burger and fries

The conclusion, an excellent new burger to the London scene, it was great, consistent, and delivered in every way, a solid 9 of 10 in my scale for this new joiner.

Kramer: Danke schoen, my little dumplings
Elaine: Hi
Kramer: Hey, how about that Toby, huh?
Elaine: Yeah, how about her?
Kramer: Ooh, she's a package full of energy!
Elaine: Yeah, she's a package full of something
Kramer: Yeah, and that something is life. Jerry, you got to meet this gal, she's bring in with positivity!
Elaine: Oh, please
