    About Time for a Chinese

A Long Weekend in Athens of the North [On The Road: Edinburgh]

Irish, Scottish, what's the difference, lassie?
Jerry Seinfeld (Seinfeld episode “The Phone Message”)

We went to Edinburgh for the bank holiday. Capital of Scotland and seventh most populated city in the UK. The city is vibrant, full of history and tradition. A lot has changed in Edinburgh since I visited in 2003 but still has its charm.

View from Calton Hill
Things to do includes visiting the Edinburgh castle, wandering around the Royal Mile until getting to the Scottish Parliament and the Palace of Holyroodhouse, get a nice view of the city in Calton Hill, chill in the Princess Garden admiring the Scott Monument, try some of their Michelin starred restaurants, get a nice cup of coffee in any of their independent coffee houses, and don’t forget to visit a couple bars to try the best whisky in the world.
