Aussies are mental with pies, they love them, enjoy them, and most of all eat them, they are everywhere and basically they sell them 24-7, so if you’re out of a party there is always a pie shop nearby. A well-known place is Dinkum Pies, a tradition in Melbourne, hide in one of the laneways across CBD.

Open from Monday to Friday for breakfast and lunch, basically you’re going to find pies and pastries. Went there for lunch to see what was the buzz about, simple place uncomfortable sitting, some coca cola memorabilia at one side of the place. After a quick view of the options went for the Australian classic meat pie and a chicken and mushroom roll.

The meat pie was nice, good seasoning, good flavour, the crunchy pastry spot on, but on the other hand the chicken roll wasn't as good, the pastry was again nice and crunchy, but the chicken and mushroom filling was dried, and a little overcooked. I'm not a pie expert but I think the meat pie was pretty decent, wouldn't mind to go for more.

This is the secret lane, nobody knows about it. The ultimate, I think the ultimate psychological test of traffic is the total dead stop. Not even rolling. And you look out the window, you can see gum clearly. So we know that in the future traffic will get even worse than that. I mean, what will happen? Will it start moving backwards, I wonder? I mean, is that possible? That someday we’ll be going, boy, this is some really bad traffic now, boy. This, is really bad. I'm going to try to get off and get back on going the other way.
