I spent the last 6 days in Hong Kong. What could I say about that? Apart from I had an amazing time there. Hong Kong is a place with an extraordinary skyline, delicious food, traditional culture, and wild nightlife; it’s definitely where the east meets west.
I was expecting for rickshaws but I didn’t find any, I went remembering on the plane the Seinfeld episode “The Bookstore” where Kramer and Newman planned running a rickshaw service in New York.
Kramer: Remember my idea about rickshaws in New York? Well we're gonna make it happen.
Jerry: No you’re not.
Kramer: Well Newman knows a guy in the Hong Kong post office.
Jerry: No he doesn't.
Newman: He's shipping us a rickshaw. It can't miss.
Jerry: Yes it can.

On the contrary the transport system is amazing, double-decker trams, buses, cheap taxis and a tube (MTR), so you can move fast and easy between the areas.
For sightseeing I can recommend to go to the peak, where you can see the complete harbour, I went during the day but I guess at night the view should be brilliant. Walk by night in the Kowloon public pier including the avenue of stars and watch the symphony of lights. Visit Ngong Ping Village, where you can eat vegetarian food in the Po Lin monastery, then explore the Tian Tan Buddha, and finally wander around the Wisdom Path. And if you want to go shopping don’t worry in Hong Kong you will find from street markets selling cheap things to huge shopping malls in posh districts such as Causeway Bay, try go to the temple market (night market) on Temple street and have your palm read. Then go to the flower market, goldfish market, ladies market, and Yuen Po street bird garden in Mong Kong.
Also you should try the nightlife, I really did. Try to go for some drinks in Soho, then clubbing in Lan Kwai Fong, and finally you can explore Wan Chai around Lockhard road which I particularly reminisced to the red light district in Amsterdam.
Last but not least, enjoy Cantonese cuisine, dim sum, shark's fin, egg tarts, congee, pecking duck (Beijing cuisine), vegetarian Buddhist cuisine, and many more local dishes.
