There was one Thai place in the recommendation list I got from restaurants in Hull. I usually don’t go by myself to have this type of cuisine which I definitely have to correct in the future, as I really enjoy it. The Thai House is unpretentious, with a distinctive Asian atmosphere.
The Place
I got there with two colleagues, and we decided to go for the set menu to try as many dishes as possible. First we got the mix starters, with include Khanompang Nah Gai (deep fried bread with mince chicken and sesame seeds), Tord Mun Pla (deep fried mince cod fishcakes), Toong Torn (spicy mince chicken wrapped in wanton and deep fried), Thai House Satay (grilled strips of chicken), and Popia Tord (vegetables spring rolls), in conclusion a deep fried festival, I don’t want to know my cholesterol after that.
Deep Fried Festival
As main we got the Gaeng Massaman (Chicken Malay style curry), Phad Med Mamuang Himapar (Prawn stir fried with onions, cashew nuts, mushrooms and mixed peppers), Phad Nam Mun Hoi (stir fried chicken with onions, mushrooms, and peppers in a spicy oyster sauce), and the Phad Phed Thai House (stir fried prawns with baby corns and peppers in sweet chilli sauce), then for a side egg fried rice.

Food was good, clean flavours, strong aromas, good spicy kick, and good service. Pretty decent in conclusion.
Thai reminds me the Seinfeld episode “The Bottle Deposit”.
George: So he walks out of the stall, he's been talking the whole time.
Jerry: He pulled an LBJ on you.
George: LBJ?
Jerry: Lyndon Johnson, used to do that to his staffers.
George: No kidding?
Jerry: Oh yeah. He'd hold national security meetings in there. He planned the Hanoi bombing after a bad Thai meal.
