I finally went to the British Music Experience, I found a voucher online for their 1 year anniversary, so I only paid a quid to get in. I really enjoyed the time there, you can see all this information about the history of British music in the different edge zones, with memorabilia from different decades, play instruments in the Gibson interactive studio (definitely my favourite part), actually I didn't want to leave that area, you can play guitars, drums, basses, and pianos, just a great time. Also you can dance the decades, and see all the information you stored in your smarticket from your computer.
My best moment there: obviously the Gibson interactive studio, being able to play all those instruments just priceless.
Curious and exiting facts: Genesis doubles their concert appearance money overnight in 1973, Peter Gabriel impacted the audience and critics with his extravagant costumes (picture on the left, taken from the British Music Experience web site). Bohemian Rhapsody heralds the pop video age in 1975. Britain second pop invasion to America in 1985 by artists like Phil Collins, Dire Straits, Paul Young, Duran Duran, and Tears for Fears. Dire Straits set to be the new CD millionaires.
Finally the showcases: Amazing Sitar played by Justin Hayward from The Moody Blues (picture on the right, taken from the British Music Experience web site). The manuscript lyrics for Cream’s White Room. Jethro Tull’s lyrics for Locomotive Breath. John Lennon round glasses. Brian May red special guitar.
