The other night I went with a couple colleagues to Raj Pavilion. The place is a tandoori restaurant with a modern disco atmosphere and bright colours, keeping traditional curry and tasty Indian cuisine in East Yorkshire.
The Place
Inside
A vast menu with starters, Biriyani, Tandoori, Korai, Zalfrazi, Bhalti, Dhansaak, Dupiaza, Rogan, Kashmir, Korma, Bhuna, Madras, Vindaloo, and even English dishes. A little bit of everything for everybody.
Poppadoms
As starters the classic poppadoms, then I got a mixed kebab (chicken tikka, lamb tikka, and sheek kebab), and some magic mushrooms (deep fried with eggs, mince meat, and bread crumbs). Then I got a Tandoori garlic chicken Korai to give me a spicy and hot combination with garlic pried in pure ghee, some herbs, coriander, green chillies, and spring onions, and to reduce the heat pilau rice.

Good food and traditional Indian flavours in Hull, a good option if you are craving for curry.
These Indian places remind me Babu Bhatt and particular the Seinfeld episode “The Visa” when he got deported back to Pakistan.
Jerry: Babu must be back.
Babu's Brother: Babu, my goodness, what has happened to you?
Jerry: Where's Babu?
Babu's Brother: He is in Pakistan!
Jerry: Who are you?
Babu's Brother: I am his brother. He knew a lawyer, it was all going to be fixed.
Jerry: I'm sure the lawyer did everything they could.
Babu's Brother: Then where is Babu? What happened to Babu? Show me Babu!
Elaine: Snapple?
Babu's Brother: No, too fruity.
