After reading the top 10 burgers in Melbourne review from Burger Adventure I decided to visit the Asian fusion restaurant NSHRY. Located in Albert Park in front of the beach, chef/owner Michael Nham serves 6 days a week breakfast, lunch, and Thursdays to Sundays also dinner.

Got to NSHRY on a sunny Sunday early afternoon, sat outside, al fresco experience best way to go on a beachside café, relax lazy Sunday, slow service, very slow. Ordered a Quilmes beer and the Umami burger, a mix between wagyu and angus beef, a roasted tomato, onion and mushroom jam, melted gruyere, a parmesan crust, on a sweet brioche bun, as side beer battered chips, slaw, cornichons, spicy chip dip, tomato sauce, and wasabi kewpie.

Had a peek over a couple breakfast dishes before getting my burger and they looked amazing. Got my crime of the century, it had the look and tasted awesome, juicy, great balance, well executed, the crunchy parmesan crust beautiful, the toasted bun goes perfect, overall a great burger. And the chips stole the show, perfectly cooked, crispy, and the dips superb. The slaw was nice, good Asian flavours.

Great burger, amazing location, if you’re fine with the slow service you won’t have any issues.

Asian reminds me the Seinfeld episode “The Chinese Woman”
Elaine: She's not Chinese?
Jerry: No, not Chinese, not even Asian.
Elaine: So, what is she?
Jerry: Well, she's like you
Elaine: Oh, how disappointed you must have been
Jerry: Well, it's false advertising, see? And the thing is, I think she likes people thinking she's Chinese, she suggests Chinese food, she always introduces herself as Donna Chang
Elaine: So why're you seeing her again
Jerry: Well, she is a woman
