Do you think that the people at the airport that run the stores have any idea
what the prices are every place else in the world? Or do you think they just
feel they have their own little country out there and they can charge anything
they want? You're hungry? Tuna sandwich is nine dollars

It’s quite difficult to find good food either in planes or in the airport. I can consider myself a frequent flyer and most of the time I spend in the airport is inside the lounges. But in my last trip I decided to try something different in Heathrow terminal 5. Gordon Ramsay Plane Food a nice open plan place, loud music to try to cover the noise of the departure terminal, all day food and drinks, open from breakfast to diner, with express menu if you’re in a hurry or even picnic options so you can take the food to the plane.
My flight was at the end of the morning so got a good chance to try the breakfast options. I went for the eggs Norwegian with mushrooms and spinach as a side. I was completely surprised, it was absolutely fantastic, perfectly cooked eggs, the hollandaise with the fresh smoked salmon in a lovely English muffin, really nice for a moment I forgot I was in the airport and that is a lot to say.

Probably the best option you have in Heathrow for sure fresh ingredients and well-executed food.
