Caracas Street Burgers

In Caracas there is a street with at least 10 burger shacks. People go to the different vendors to have a quick bite, enjoy a massive burgers after baseball matches or during weekends after party. The place is called “Calle el Hambre” which means something like hunger street. One of my favourite places there is Auto Lunch Ariana, they have more than 21 years serving burgers, pepitos (some sort of steak sandwich), and bbqs, but their speciality is the "Special Chicken Burger".

The Infamous Street

This pan fried chicken breast burger comes with egg, ham and melted cheese, to join the combination add lettuce, tomato and potato crisps, and as a grand finale a secret sauce, which is one of the best I’ve ever tried,  for me this is what makes it so special and tasty, so you won't find any katzenjammer in the place demonstrating against the burger, don't waste time and if you're around go get it.

The Sockdolager Chicken Burger

Fine Balance

Street food reminds me the Seinfeld episode “The Cigar Store Indian” where the gang are in the subway near Queens and try to buy the best Gyro in Queensboro Plaza stop.

Tannoy: Next stop, Queensboro Plaza.
Kramer: Oh, Queensboro Plaza. This stop is famous for its gyros, you want one?
Elaine: How are you gonna get something and get back on the train in time?
Kramer: Well, they got a stand right out on the platform. Gyros are cooked, and wrapped, and ready to go. Three dollars, no change. You want one?
Elaine: No thanks.
Kramer: Alright, but no bites.
