While my xmas holidays in Caracas my cousin recommended trying a pamersan and rucula pizza. The restaurant is New Spizzico, a mediterranean ambiance and wooden fire oven. Funny enough when I lived in Caracas I worked just around the corner and never went to the place.
I went with my mother and we decided to get two diferent pizzas and share them. So the first one was the San Daniele with serrano ham, the second one no other than the recommended one, the Spizzico that brings rucula, tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella and parmesan flakes.
Both pizzas were excellent. However, the service was quite slow, even though there was nobody else at that time in the restaurant. Therefore, if you have plenty of time and don’t mind waiting a little bit longer you will enjoy an excellent pizza.
The mediterranean ambience reminds me the Seinfeld episode “The Suicide” where Jerry’s neighbour committed suicide and his girlfriend is flirting with Jerry.
Kramer: So what’s going on between you and Gina?
Jerry: Well, I went with her to the hospital last night.
Kramer: Uh, uh.
Jerry: So we’re in the room and she’s trying to get me to kiss her right in front of him.
Kramer: Uh, uh, you see that’s the great thing about Mediterranean women. All right, so what did you do?
Jerry: Nothing.
Kramer: Ah, what kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don’t have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?
Jerry: I didn’t know what the coma etiquette was.
